Cheeseburger
biscuit cups are a kid-approved, family favorite dinner that are
perfect for back-to-school. Simple ingredients, easy to prepare, and a
30 minute meal. Refrigerated biscuit cups loaded with a cheeseburger
filling. Everyone will love these!
I found
this recipe years ago, like probably a decade ago, in a Taste of Home
magazine. I have made them more times than I can count since and they
still remain one of my family’s favorite dinners.
These
cheeseburger biscuit cups can be on the table in 30 minutes! And the
best part is that they are made with very inexpensive ingredients and
most of them you will already have on hand. Ketchup,
mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar! I am pretty sure most of
us have those items already in our kitchens. Just buy yourself a pound
of lean ground beef, Velveeta cheese, and a can of buttermilk biscuit
dough and you’re set.
The can of
refrigerated biscuits will come with 8 biscuits inside. Take one and
flatten it out and then press into a muffin tin. Repeat with the
remaining biscuits. Brown a simple mixture of ground beef, ketchup,
mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar and fill those biscuit
cups up. Top with a few squares of Velveeta cheese and pop them in the
oven.
